Eyy glad you got a replacement pen or did you fix it? anyways I like the overall mood of the piece but I feel like the tent seems a bit off, could be that I don't really understand perspective that much tho.

yes! my pen recovered a bit i could do some basic things but it has permanent damage and does sometimes just need a tip removal and a break for a few hours in a horizontal position...using the new one right now because it is more convenient if something works for sure. my hand and arm also need a break..i think i just drew too many lines for the bigger landscape painting Q_Q
about the perspective: i drew a perspective grid which felt unnecessary(except for the tent) and then i may have fucked it up when i tilted the painting and continued with the grid in the original position xD i kinda fixed it afterwards, however the worst part is that i don't know 100% if it is wrong just by looking at it..maybe i winged it somehow? maybe your intuition is right about it? i can not tell haha.. let us just say lizards are not very capable tent-builders.

I love long necked monsters for some reason, seems like you know your stuff for ink art, I cant touch that stuff cause i mess up like every 5 seconds :P

Well thank you! It wasn't always that way, i used to be scared and suck at inking, and I'm still trying to improve but i guess it's just practice and going in head on!
And your stuff is really impressive anyway :p

I really like the concept for this piece friend, I feel like the lighting should have a more extreme of a bugs eye view for the lighting rather than what you have now as I think it would focus more on the character itself rather than the background, and I also think the gray mountains in the back should be extended a bit to the left side of the piece as it feels like it just got cut off.

thanks! i never even considered tweaking the lightrays in this one! and now that i do..i see the possibilities :D that was some real valuable feedback there. the mountain thing will be also considered.
with bugs eye you mean something like the sunrays should be stronger at the center, right? never heard that technical term.
since you said you wait to see the finished goblin. i was feeling like: man i hope i am not gonna completely disappoint him. haha

thanks a lot for the feedback! i thought i'd let the vote decide and your comment aligns with that :D i saw you were practising landscapes and getting a good foundation done with "traveler's rest". i personally liked your landscape composition there more than my own. please feel free to give any criticism. we all need input to improve..especially the ones who did not go to any kind of arts-school.

I always liked the way punk rock members looked like, although that may not have been the inspiration for the hair. The original looked more like a folded piece of paper that first vent up and then bent downwards. It wasn't until my friend Amber (@/HeyLookItsANerd) on twitter that drew my persona with that kind of hair, which I kept since then (the simple folded paper hair was mostly kept to my other persona Mini_7ameZ).

Also the hair got me to make my hair similar to it (even though my mom made a mistake while bleaching my hair, and then months later my mom accidentally used my hair bleacher instead of the one making her hair darker). I just hope mistakes doesn't happen again.

Your style for your characters seem like they can have very fluid movements and I like that, any plans on using them for things like animation shorts in the future? :O

I don't know if i'll do animation shorts with my characters, I MIGHT do one day but thats not really my plan right now. I was more planning to go into comics and illustration.
